20 Questions Tag!

Hey all! Nearly half way through the working week. Hope its all gone well so far!

The lovely April over at Beauty Badger tagged me in the 20 questions tag! Make sure you check out her lovely blog! I think this is a great way to get to know people, and not always beauty related. So here goes….

1. Thing you cannot leave the house without?

If its not beauty related it definitely has to be my mobile phone!

2. Favorite brand of makeup?

I'm all over MUA & Bourjois at the moment. I go through phases all the time though!

3. Favorite flower?

Ohhhh I don't really have a favourite flower. I love all flowers in general- so pretty

4. Favorite clothing store?

H & M!

5. Favorite perfume ?

Ummmm probably Stella by Stella McCartney!

6. Heels or flats?

Flats are a lot more comfortable, although I wear heels everyday for work. If heels weren't so damn painful id wear them all the time because I love the way they make me look and feel!

7. Do you make good grades?

I'm no longer in education, but when I was my grades were reasonably good. I always worked hard which is what's important.

8. Favorite colors?

I love all colours!! Colours make me happy!!

9. Do you drink energy drinks?

No, not really. Unless I'm drinking Vodka & Red Bull

10. Do you drink juice?

Yes, I love juice! Especially freshly squeezed juice!

11. Do you like swimming?

I don't really ever go swimming unless I'm on holiday somewhere nice and hot.  Wish I did though as its a great workout!

12. Do you eat fries with a fork?

No….unless I'm on a date or something? haha.

13. Favorite moisturizer?

Both from the Bodyshop- for face Vitamin E moisturizer and for body- body butter in strawberry. The most amazing smelling body butter I have ever come across! Delicious!

14. Do you want to get married later on in life?

Yes!

15. Do you get mad easily?

Not really, I try and keep my cool as much as possible. But im only human. Certain situations infuriate me and I just cant help myself.

16. Are you into ghost hunting?

No, not at all. Sounds scary!

17. Any phobias?

Anything that can harm me Haha. I fear pain more than the pain itself.

18. Do you bite your nails?

No. I used to when I was younger though! My mum used to rub chillies on my nails….eugh!

19. Have you ever had a near death experience?

No, thankfully! *touch wood!*

20. Do you drink coffee?

Yes I do. I try to limit the amount I drink though and try to substitute it with herbal teas.

1. What is your ‘go to’ make up product?

Definately mascara- cant live without it!

 

2. What was your favourite fashion trend of 2011?

Well im probably not always the most fashionable person. I try to dress for my body shape more so than anything else. At the moment im loving Peter Pan collars!

 

3. What is your favourite dessert?

Ooooohhh CHEESECAKE!! YUM!

 

4. Favourite colour?

Im a massive fan of colour in general. Will prob have to say Yellow or Pink.

 

5. What is your middle name?

I have two- Cristina Teresa

 

6. What was the last song you listened to?

Rihanna – You da one. Im loving this song right now!

 

7.  Cats or dogs?

Im going to have to say cats. I used to have a beautiful tabby cat. Im actually quite scared of dogs, although I wish I wasnt!! Haha.

Weekend Eyes

Hello!! How are you all doing? Last week was crazy mad and this week seems to be panning out pretty much the same! Really need to start learning how to organise my life properly. Work gets in the way of life so much doesn't it!? Haha.

Thought I would leave you with a pic of my eye make up over the weekend.

So I used one of the most talked about pallets recently- MUA’s heave & earth. I absolutely LOVE this palette. I'm a massive fan of neutral colours- they suit my brown eyes quite well. I love colours that can look so natural but are buildable for a dramatic effect.

On my water line I used Miss Sporty eye liner in 120 Naughty Blue. I've been using this for years. I love how creamy it is and its really cheap- cant go wrong!

I applied Max Factors false Lash effect mascara. This is my fave mascara ever. As you can see it gives my lashes volume and thickness (?!) I'm so particular and critical of mascaras, so when I find one I like I never let it go!

Bargains!!

Ahhhhh already Sunday beauties! How did this happen?? I've had a great weekend which involved copious amounts of alcohol and a teeny weeny bit of shopping. Luckily there are still loads of goodies left from the sales, so I didn't end up spending too much money but came out with some gems!!

 

 

 

I love the pattern and the peter pan collar on the first top and the cute sleeves on the purple blouse.

 

 

Not sure if you can see it properly but it has the cutest little buttons. I love a sleeve that cuffs at the end if you know what I mean. Feels a bit posher rather than when it just hags off my wrists! These two treasures were £3 each from Primark! Yes, £3!!!  What a bargain!

I've been on the hunt for some boots for a while (haven't we all!! Damn you Allegras and your price tag!) Neither of the boots look like Allegras but I was willing to compromise on this consider the prices. They're still boots and I still love them.

 

 

 

 

 

A pair of heels and a pair of flats- perfect! Nothing special but they do the job! Bought them both at New Look. How much I hear you ask……..?

 

 

£9 for the heels and £10 for the flats, so that’s under £20 for two pairs of boots! INCREDIBLE!!!

That's got to be one of my most successful shopping trips. All in under 1 hour!
